The Damond Motorsports Mazdaspeed Water Outlet Manifold is the perfect addition for serious racers and those wanting to clean up their engine bay. Machined out of 6061 aluminum and anodized black, this billet piece takes up a considerably less space compared to the original equipment cast piece. Our Water Outlet Manifold also features additional ports for adding in sensors of your choosing, and allows you to plug ports you don't need in racing applications, such as the heater core and thermostat bypass. Fittings and plugs are available to configure this manifold for your needs.

    Key features:

    • Custom machined factory sized radiator hose o-ring boss fitting (ORB for short).
    • ORB to hose barb fittings for the thermostat bypass hose and heater core hose
    • OE sensor port.
    • 2 x Additional 1/8" NPT sensor ports (3 for the Mazdaspeed6 and CX-7). Ideal for adding in both coolant temperature and coolant pressure sensors.
    • Much more compact and sleek compered to the original cast water outlet, as well as lighter.
    Parts included:

    • 1 x Water Outlet Manifold
    • 1 x ORB Radiator Hose Fitting
    • 2 x ORB Boss Hose Barb Fittings
    • 3 x Brass Hose Barb to NPT Fittings (unless aluminum option is selected)
    • 5 x NPT Plugs
    • 1 x Turbo Coolant Hose
    • 1 x Plug for Intake Manifold EGR Tube Port
    • 1 x Factory OEM Mazda Gasket
    Optional Parts:

    • 3 x Aluminum Hose Barb to NPT Fittings
    • 2 x ORB Plugs (if deleting the thermostat bypass and/or heater core)
    • 1 x OE Sensor Port Plug
Please note: This part is for offroad use only. This does not feature a provision for the EGR valve or tube, thus omitting the EGR system.

So, I already received my pink water manifold. And, yeah, it's a brilliant pink alright, LOL. Anyway, it comes with a card with a QR code on it. Use the QR code to get to the install guides. That basically just takes you to this page:

    Guides | Damond Motorsports

One little problem... there is no guide for the water manifold. I presume its fairly self-explanatory, shouldn't be too hard. Still, if it is going to give you a card saying here is where you can find an install guide, you kinda expect to find an install guide...

We'll be working on a guide for this pretty soon. It installs basically the same as the factory piece. A couple little tips would be, lube up the o-rings on the o-ring fittings prior to tightening them, and teflon tape on the non o-ring fittings.

Any install question, don't hesitate to reach out.

So, I finally installed the water manifold. Honestly, it's cool and all, but is it really worth the money, trouble? I'm not sure, but it's nice. EDIT: I put the manifold in my signature.

It looks like you might not have the radiator hose fitting not fully tight. That should be flush.

Ah crap! Thanks for noticing! I initially hand-tightened it, and I guess I forgot to re-tighten it. I hadn't refilled yet, so thanks for letting me know!

Just for comparison, here is the stock water manifold. The most obvious difference is the Damond eliminates the EGR appendages. Well, that and the pink color... Since I don't need the EGR block off plates anymore, I'll just give them away for shipping. I will post in the for sale section.
