    That's a serious intercooler, for sure. Are you guys going to add methanol too for the purpose of below-ambient BATs? As Borat would say, they're verrrrry niiiiice :D

    We will not be running meth. That intercooler and Aux Fuel running a C85 mix will be plenty :)

    Well, the ST turbo kit has significantly less parts than the speed, and it is quite a bit less expensive, but still pretty exclusive. Though I've seen more ST kits sell than Mazdaspeed Kits.

    Head-integrated EM FTW, I suppose. I wonder how much their head EMs can flow.

    On this particular setup? What's the turbo selection? Guess it's impossible to do EL runners or twinscroll on the ST's because of the integrated design. Seems like it'd be a limitation. Then again, if the primaries running to the turbo are too big, it really hurts spool.

    @Redline the turbo is a GTX3582 with the .82 a/r hotside. While nothing can be done about the head at this time, we are hoping the extra displacement from stroking it to 2.3L, the higher compression, the aggressive cams, port work, and oversized valves will all add up to help get this sucker spinning.

    Also,

    Progress is being made... Hope to have the engine hung in the car by this evening.

    Well guys, the ST has been running for about a month now. Got it broken in and currently running on 91oct. We are still ironing out some details on our fuel system, but should have that ready to go in the car soon. Since race season is over for us here in Denver until at least April, we haven't been in too much of a hurry to get this thing finished, so we are just taking our time and making sure everything will be right and ready for the track to open then.

    In the meantime, this is what our car is doing on 91oct according to vdyno. Also, keep in mind this is with no correction factor and we are at 5250 asl. To give you an idea of how good this setup is flowing with the 2.3L stroker and the 35r, our highest dyno on the EFR7163 (previous turbo setup) put down around 390 uncorrected at 28psi. That was with Aux fuel and an E85/race gas mix.

    Great numbers! Especially uncorrect @ your ASL point. I'm confused, though, you said 390 @ 28psi; I see only 20psi here. Different tunes/different graphs? You also said the graph was 91 only, but then said it put down 390 with some ethanol. The VDyno shows 390 (so is this the 91 only, or with ethanol?), and only 20psi, not 28. Perhaps the difference between VDyno and actual dyno? *head scratching*

    Regardless, 390 @ 20psi is ridonculous! Surprised to see the EFR7163 spooling so slow; even though you're stroked to 2.3 liters, maybe because ASL?

    I think that was their old setup, the 390 @ 28 psi.
