So I live in Phx AZ where emission have to be done so I cant really delete my EGR valve but what I can do is go the unplug route, I just have 1 concern... Once the EGR gets unplugged I'm assuming all that gunk that would be finding a nice home on my valves will now just start to build up and my concern is once I plug it back in for emissions and that valve opens up, wont all that build up that's been gathering just end up in the place I'm trying to prevent it from getting to??? I've read cases where ppl have supposedly plugged it bk in and so much build up was released at one time that it either effected how the motor ran or threw a code. Is my logic correct or would I be ok in moving fwd with unplugging it??? thanks for any input you guys may have, I really apricate it..

You could always remove it and clean it before plugging it back in

Another approach is add a sheet metal blocking plate between block/gasket/plate/egr.
It's not hard to remove for every test cycle.
I like above tho, just delete kit and reinstall.

Damond makes a great little kit. Easy to install and looks great. Cheap as dirt, too.
