Just ordered some 17x9 +45 Enkei TD-5's and am a fitment noob. I've seen some in the fitment thread and elsewhere you can get away with 5mm spacers up front and up to 8mm without needing to extend studs. I'm thinking to try 5mm before I commit to extending studs. Question:
Do you still need a hubcentric ring for the wheel? I'm thinking you do. I heard most hubs have 10mm of height so with 5mm spacers there should still be 5 mm for the rings to seat on?

    Looking at these spacers: www.amazon.com/StanceMagic-Hubcentric-Compatible-Veloster-Mitsubishi/dp/B01M6UVR1X/
I bet the JBR 5mm will work but are more than twice the price.

Looking at this for the rings: www.amazon.com/Hubcentric-Rings-Pack-Centerbore-Mitsubishi/dp/B00AAOEKQG
The wheels have a 72.6mm bore.
Also for lug nuts do I get regular "tuner" acorn nuts? I can't seem to find this info. But I'm thinking this is it. There seems to be two angle types of acorns.
Haven't decided on tires. Either 255 40 or 245 40?(if 255 will cause issues) I had to buy these rims cause my current tires on oem wheels are summer only RE71r. So I'll need to get some all seasons for these 17's. Maybe swap out the front 17 with summer tires later. Suggestions welcome.

Update: I've seen some fitments where they don't use spacers at all. For tires im thinking cosmo muchomacho 245 40 17. They got great reviews and are very cheap. 245's also have more options and are cheaper in general. Should have enough grip for 400whp with sticky compound. Ive read about some ppl with big turbos running 245. Also prob has less problems than wider 255's
