I could've swore that I introduced myself on here a few years ago but I might be wrong. I purchased this 2011 MS3 non-tech package back in February of 2019 with 93k miles for $7,300 at my work . I used to be an avid RX-7 and Miata owner until I had my son in October 19... so I needed a fun family car! I purchased it unfortunately with no prior history. No accessport, didn't know if it had fuel pump internals. Only had a Corksport CAI, CS TIP, CS long catted downpipe and the CS full resonated exhaust. It came with paperwork in the glovebox claiming that it was tuned at the BMW dealership in town. Long story short, I ordered fuel pump internals regardless and when torn apart it had Autotechs inside. I put the Corksport internals inside anyways. I bought an Accessport and got a flash tune with a revision through Stratified and used that for a while but now I'm almost done getting tuned through Dramatune. I've cleaned my intake valves, replaced my clutch and got a fidanza flywheel. Little things here and there have also been replaced also such as brake pads, the pivot shaft seal and a few other things. I love my Bayson R front lip and side skirts that I really couldn't wait to put on when I got them. I'm working setting time aside to do my timing belt and VVT components since I'm at 115k miles now. I am hoping to also upgrade my top mount since I live in the Arizona summer heat! Here are a few pictures! Thanks for reading since this turned into a novel! ms33.jpg ms333.jpg

Welcome. Lol dramatune. Hopefully your motor doesn't end up blown too.

Over the course of the past few minutes I've been doing some research on Dramatune. I'm reading a lot of negative stuff on here! Everything I read elsewhere was quality from him. Now I'm starting to worry... I loved how my Stratified tune felt (no crackles don't worry), and it drove GREAT considering I don't have that much done to my car. I'm on my 4th revision with Drama and it seems as if we might not be making that HUGE of progress honestly. I see knock here and there still (some partial throttle, minimal WOT), something I NEVER got with Stratified in here in AZ. I still think my Stratified tune felt better than where I'm at with Drama now. I wonder if I should cut my losses (whopping $200) and go back to my Stratified tune for now. Would you recommend that? In the future I can go with Freek or PD since they seem like the best two.

I wouldn't hesitate to drop the drama tune and go back to stratified

Went back to my Stratified tune. Feels great again. Working on getting an E30 tune and timing belt/VVT stuff in the next few weeks.
