Just wondering if anybody of you guys happened to know what is the size of the bolt that secures the egr tube that goes from front to back(not the egr valve)
Trying to loosen one of the bolts, i kind of stripped the bolt and now I'm screwed, I can't get it out and I'm gonna have to call mechanic for help. The reason why I'm asking the size is because I'm gonna have to buy a new one if its available or fit in another type of bolt although i don't know if it has to be heat resistant. Any help I'm going to appreciate it. Thanks

I don’t know the size from memory, but you can get sockets which remove stripped bolt heads and they do a decent job. I have the harbor freight set. A couple of times I’ve even filed the edges of the stripped bolt head back to semi-straight and used a slightly smaller socket.

Once it’s out you could take it to a hardware shop and get a similar bolt replacement.
