I'm in need of some assistance, I recently started the Pro-Tune process. I went out a few days ago and every time I would try to datalog in 3rd or 4th gear it would cut all power at 5000 RPM.
I went out again today and tried again, Traction control off and 3rd and 4th gear. It happened again at both 5000RPM and 5500RPM. At half throttle with boost it acts fine. I was reading another thread on Mazdaspeeds.org and someone said the clutch switch needed replaced, however the car starts fine every time. Just looking for help and ideas, I've included two datalogs, one from 3rd gear, one from 4th gear.

    Mod list is as follows
    -Kinugawa TD05-H18G
-Mishimoto FMIC with HKS SSQV BOV
    -Autotech HPFP internals
    -Grimmspeed ECBC
-Catless DP to full 3.5 Inch exhaust
    -Damond motorsports EGR delete
    -Corksport 3.5 Bar MAP sensor
    -NGK LTR7IX-11 Gapped to .026
-Turbo inlet pipe with K&N intake

    Thank you!

When I say power cut, I mean its like hitting redline. if I let it come down on RPM and try again it does the same thing. Almost like hitting a wall lol.

I emailed 3 days ago and followed up this morning. Havent heard anything yet. I sent him the two logs from first post. Hoping it's something simple but since I haven't received anything yet I'm stressing. I've compared the logs and nothing really sticks out to me as weird. Long term and short term fuel trends seem to be good until it hits that RPM Mark.
Idk. I'll wait for a response to see. Just was trying to get ideas.

Tuner got back with me, doesn't think its on his end.
After looking through the datalogs I took the other night, every time I hit about 4700-5000 RPM spark advance jumps Way up. From about 5 to 20-50. I'm just not sure what to do at this point. Went ahead and got a new clutch switch from Mazda and did SWAS delete. I also tested my PRV and its bad so maybe that's the issue. We will see.

I have not yet fixed it, I guess we can compare mods to see if anything matches up and try that?
    - BNR S4 V1
    - Balance shaft delete
    - EGR delete
    - Damond 3.5” intake
    - Radium PCV plate
    - 3.5” catless downpipe
    - Tubular manifold
    - HPFP upgrade
    - GFB ex44 external wastegate
    - ultimate racing FMIC kit with mishimoto M line
    - NGK 6510 gapped at 0.024
    - 3.5Bar map sensor
    - 3 port ebcs
    - Baffle plate
    - EBay BOV
    - Intake runner flaps removed
I think that’s it, I’ve tried a new oem crank position sensor and camshaft sensor. I’m on a 91 octane base tune with Justin from freektune. I spoke with him and he said it doesn’t look like a tuning issue so I don’t know where to go.

I guess I will have to take a look as I haven’t checked that, I have a Damond motorsports intake though so I’m not sure if that’s my issue. Thank you very much for updating

Glad you got it figured out! Any updates? Vdynos? I'm looking at maybe getting the same turbo. Which options did you get? STS? 6+6?
