B7BE5FBE-A75A-4866-BA64-2881871BD36F.jpeg Can anyone help me figure out where this coolant line is supposed to go. Bought the car from a guy who threw an cx-7 engine in it. He had this line connected to the BOV causing months of headache due to it leaking coolant (didnt know where it was coming from until today)
Anyway now that the right hose is connected where does this one go? There is no fittings or anything for it to go on.
Thanks for the help 32AE2BC2-18C1-4ABD-9ED8-4110B4A2417A.jpeg D613CC94-B499-4B9B-8E50-21E4DC09365F.jpeg

the dude hooked up the BPV to to the coolant system what in the actual fuck!?! Hope you got the vac/boost source from the intake manifold going to it now and that is your only issue considering coolant has been flowing into your intake path.....if it were me I'd be asking for my money back not trying to fix it.

Looks like a janky throttle body coolant bypass (you don't actually need coolant flowing through it if you're above freezing temps, heck mine is bypassed and I see -34C or lower... although I should undo the bypass for those temps).

essentially one hose from the TB goes to the coolant outlet and the other hose goes onto the metal coolant pipe that's going over the trans, you can find some great diagrams on jim ellis Mazda, however I have gone ahead and highlights in green the coolant paths you're after. Chances are the other hose is looped between the two spots that go to the TB if it's not connected to the TB.

If you are holding the hose going to the front pipe nipple on TB then it goes to metal cooling crossover pipe. The pipe is connected to oil cooler and over transmission housing to hose that connects heater core. A small pipe nipple on that crossover pipe is just below the TB and above starter.
