I had an older Eonon, and upgraded to the M3BKA12. New harness, etc. Nothing moved over. Everything is functioning but the sound. Dead silent. I have Googled and still not working. Anyone had this and fixed it?

Connected Apple Carplay wirelessly and wired, as well as FM radio and no luck.

I emailed their support but they wont be back until monday and only respond 1 time a day.

I would bet on bum unit. Does the amp and speakers work if you plug the old unit back in?

Yeah that is a possibility. And yeah it all worked but was random disconnecting CarPlay. Figured it was old so swapped. Hopefully it's an easy fix. I really think it's something stupid.

Update. Also noticed steering wheel controls are not working. I think this unit is a dud.

On my old unit I had to move connections around as there were extra plugs for the Bose or non Bose options. Maybe yours is similar?

I do have 1 oem connector not hooked up but it was not on old unit. I think it was for the display that doesn't show some stuff on aftermarket. In leaning towards a bad unit. I'm also concerned there was no protective film on the screen like it was a return. Ugh.

If you have a mpg/miles option on on the clock display panel it was for that function. When I moved the smaller display on to my older Eonon unit. That's why my clock will not reset or adjust the buttons were on the OEM faceplate. Also can't use the mpg/miles to go display.. that display has two connections since it was a option AND Bose audio. My other same year 3 is plain old radio and I wanted to switch out the displays, but the CAN bus data actually runs through Bose unit to that mpg/miles option display area through another connection. I posted a picture of where it displayed if it would work. PXL_20231120_005728683.MP.jpg

Yeah there is a way to get those to change settings and to set the clock. I did on the old unit. New one is just no Bueno.

Fixed! They replied and said factory reset. Code 1234. That made steering wheel controls work. Then checked the two AMP control cables and they were barely connected. Pushed together and fully functioning. All I need to do is connect my usb cable and done.

I'm pretty sure I made a post a while ago that has a list of codes for the head units to unlock more options
