True. Only thing there is I didn't change any of that. I guess I'll do a leak test. If I don't find anything there, I'll get a new bov. And if that's not it I guess this new turbos wastegate isn't capable of handling more that 12psi. Lol

If the ebcs is working correctly the wastegate wouldn't be that big of a hurdle

If you still have the old turbo you could switch the wastegates

I did a leak test. It dosnt hold air but I can't find where any is leaking. through the throttle body I guess. The ebcs I got isn't the same part number is a Dorman 667-104. Maybe it's not the same?

Ebcs does click when given 12v and part numbers seem to cross match

Ok so another possibility dealt with. Oem wastegate is now on the new turbo. 12.91psi is what it makes wot. Ebcs clicks when given power. One thing I'm not sure of is the lines going to the ebcs. I can only find 1 pic and idk if that's correct. Wategate to port A which is closest to the the connector. Which I'm assuming will allow air through port b and back into the intake when activated. So I'm out of ideas unless my bov would cause this to happen. If it did happen to go bad during the turbo swap as I didn't move or unhook any of its plumbing

    Bleed.
Intake (post MAF) -> EBCS -> WGA -> Compressor housing.

    Edit:
Stock EBCS is 2 port normally closed IIRC.
Stock WGA has 2 ports on it (Image search for the stock turbo and you'll understand)

Im looking at the same pictures I've been looking at for a week. I see the line going from the bottom of the wategste to the compressor housing. And it looks like the one from the top of the wastegate going to the ebcs port closest to the connector. I can't find a picture but assume the Second port" closest to the firewall goes to the intake " post MAF"

But I really feel like I either have something crossed here. My new ebcs isn't working , or I have a cracked line. I will replace them tomorrow.

I tried that today. Pulled a valve stem into. Pvc cap. Put that where the filter should go. Pumped air into it and didn't hear any leaks amywhere.tried soapy water. Nothing. Should I block off the throttle body side also? I could release the air with the bov but if I turned the pump off there wouldn't be any air at the bov within a couple seconds.

Start over. If you can be tuned, you can log. Post a WOT log of 3rd gear, include ALL columns.

Do I need to block off the throttle body end? Or just the intake to valve cover line?

I searched. Some said you will only get 15psi before it bleeds past the throttle body that's why I asked. Would a couple tiny leaks they has been addressed. 13psi it builds. I think I hear air from around the turbo somewhere but can't see any bubbles or anything. Mayne is going through the wastegate?

You are doing yourself absolutely no favors if you ignore this.
