Guessing you had to get rid of the HID turning as-you-turn stuff, right?

no not at all. The OEM Hid AFS system works just as it should with the new projectors. They still turn as you move the steering wheel. but the output is crazy good.

That's awesome, so what projectors, halos and LED strips did you end up going with for the final version? Assume the new inside corner projectors are now on when the DRL LEDs used to be, on right?

Also, unrelated, what lip is that? Combo with it all looks great.

So the new build, i removed the Oem projectors and went with G5R D2s projectors and where the triangle part of the tech package lights used to be, i cut and put Micro D2S projectors. The output is absolutely nuts!! Im running Osram Night breaker laser bulbs. Halos and Strips are profile Pivot switchback halos, extremely reliable.

And no the inside projectors, i wired them into the stock hids so when i turn them on, all 4 projectors run as one. Its absolutely gorgeous at night.

That's some serious hardware, the bulbs alone I see are like $200. But they are just really good HID bulbs, I'd guess, tho I was reading some time ago how Audi and others were experimenting with actual laser for headlights

Dont be fooled, id never pay 200 for bulbs but i didnt go cheap either. I found some around for like 130-140 bucks for the pair. But you can use Osram CBB bulbs or CBI as well

The front lip is a Bayson R front lip. I had the CS one before it and it was reaaal nice but it was made of Abs plastic and ended up cracking in multiple places.

I got the Bayson R for $100 bucks vs the 225 plus shipping i paid for the CS one and its polyurethane so it flexes and can take a beating. Honestly the CS one does look better but this was a way better deal.

Hey man awesome build I plan to do something like this with my tech lights as well. If it’s not a problem can you send me a list of what you all used in details? Such a light strips, what size demon eyes and what size halos and such. Still new trying to get into this but trying to learn.
