I had debated for a long time to buy a BMW due to my friend having one. He owns a 2018 M3 with FBO and it rips. Most of the M models were outside my price range specifically M4s and M5s. But not the M6. I owned a GT500 and my brother wanted to buy it so I sold it to him then bought the M6 with plenty of money to spare.

This thing is awesome. 4.4L Twin Turbo V8, fully loaded. 7 speed DCT transmission, carbon fiber roof, competition and executive package.

Stock it makes 580 horsepower. So far within a month of ownership I've put downpipes and a stage 2 MHD tune on it. MHD claims it should make about 760-780 with a stage 2 flash. It's insane. It's a car that requires a radar detector. I still haven't done intakes, intercooler or an E85 tune yet.

Aside from the power it comes with heated cooled seats, massage seats, 4 zone climate control, rear side and back window motorized sun shades, awesome ambient lighting, a good sound system, customizable M mode (engine, suspension, and steering settings)

The car was 100 percent stock. It didn't come with Android Auto/Apple Carplay so I added an MMI module inline with the radio. It basically displays it on the factory screen but I can switch back and forth with the iDrive buttons.

Anyways here's some pictures. I'll get some sound clips and videos soon. It won't be long till I get some track time with it and see what numbers it can put down.

So one of the bad things about this car was trying to find a spot for my phone. If I put it in the cup holder it would flop back and forth during any driving maneuvers. I needed a phone mount. I had purchased one of these wireless chargers for my truck and it worked well. Decided to get another for the M.

Not a bad price either at 30 dollars on Amazon. I ran the cord down behind the HVAC controls and through the console to a power outlet inside the console. Nice and sleek look.

You should probably edit these photos down from IMAX size and embed them.

Also, this the only one that has the TT in the valley? I considered doing this for a v8 with weird cams for a while and this thing came out. Don't they have some issues with that particular engine as a result?

My bad I didn't know they were I max size. I post from my phone in mobile mode.

Yes this is a backwards V8 where the intakes are where the exhaust would normally be and in tjr valley is the exhaust manifold/turbos.

It's a weird setup but surprisingly not bad to work on.

New update. 2 weeks ago I had to do my first "repairs" to the car. An ignition coil on cylinder 8 failed and my blower motor wasn't working. Was able to buy both parts brand new for a total of 150 dollars. Not bad.

Today I installed two tires on the front. The old ones were bad with steel cord starting to show. Was pushing it to the limit on the life of these but Michelin Pilot Sports aren't cheap.
