I'm part way through replacing my timing chain and vvt, I just torqued the cams and afterwards was able to fit the locking plate back in with some coercing. Does this seem like too little tension?
It feels like there's a tiny bit more tension when I take the locking plate out. If I need to add more tension how can I do so? just reinstall the tensioner?

sorry I cant upload the video here, my computer is screwy

Did you keep the sprockets loose and manually turn them with your hand to equalize tension around the whole chain before torquing the camshaft bolts?
