2800 ish, WOT in 3rd or 4th to redline. Keep the pedal to the floor the entire time if you want a decent log. Turn off traction control and swas del if necessary. If the car is acting strange or you see some knock get off the pedal and figure out what's going on.

    Thanks @JohnnyTightlips.

I'll have to redo my logs for sure then.

If I see some knock retard (I.e. less than 2) when I'm WOT is that an issue?

It depends, if it is consistent then you should look into it. If it is just random it could be a fluke. If you are running e30 or more you likely have something else going on as corn juice should not really be showing knock. If you are getting knock at part throttle that can generally be ignored.

I'll so some proper datalogs tonight and create a new thread so that you guys can shed some light on what I'm seeing...I'm just not experienced enough to know for sure. This is just a 91 map tune.

E30 will be next week :)

Today I flashed my E30 tune from Stratified and took a datalog. Look to have netted about 30 whp and 26 lb-ft of torque on the k04. Not bad for a flash tune and the car feels great with no KR at WOT. The car feels great.

My e85 station is actually selling e85, which is awesome.

Stocked up for another four fill-up since my station is about 19 miles from my house.

Didn't have to go to work today, so I polished andmand resealed my headlights as they were getting dull noticed this melted black, gen 2 tech pack headlights...so that's fucking odd, perhaps form superhot bulbs? I am running LEDs they have heatsinks and active fans. I thought I first noticed it a bit before LED...not sure what to do.

It's hard to see what melted in the picture; the entire housing or the black accent strips? I'd be surprised if the heatsinks threw that much heat...did it happen on both headlights?

Btw, what kit do you use to reseal your headlights? I need to reseal the tail lights that are on the rear hatch...they leak in water when I wash the car.

Ive seen plastic get hot from polishing to much for to long. Other that when I cleaned up my headlights I polished to look clear then did a 1500 wet sand and finished with 3 coats of 2k clear
The 2k is basically a full automotive clear coat. For 2 years (then sold car) after I did this I never did have to polish to touch up after months when the cloudiness started to come back.
I cant get the link to work for me. Look up spraymax 2k clear on amazon.

The housing itself is probability the culprit of the leak. Usually with headlights that's the leak. With tail light I would imagine the same. So you can either split the it in half by heating it up and separating the housing and trying to reseal it or replace them. Could also be a tail light seal if it has one. Between the tail light and the body.

Polishing the headlights won't cause a leak. I used the meguiar's headlight kit, has a reselant in it basically a clear coat for the lights.

Heres a different pick you can see it's the plastic inside the headlights by the top of the DRL

Clearcoat was starting to look a little rough, so had my car professionally detailed...looks better, but not to what I was expecting.

May need to do a wetsand for what I was hoping for...but, it's a lot of work for a winter driven daily driver. I'll just accept the fact that cars are only new once.

I have really been liking the chemmical guys products, cannot recommend them enough, this was just their mr pink soap followed by their better butter wax (marketed for that wet look). needs a clay bar I didnt take a pic of areas that need it, but I've used their OG bar and it was great, got another one coming (gave it to my dad when i moved). Their GP interior cleaner smells great and done a wonderful job too. I'll be picking up their polish in the near future.

Not shabby PS why you so far forward in the spot?

Why do you think it needs to be wet sanded. Micro marring, micro swirls?
I found out with pinnacle (liquid) sovereign wax looked best with the true red. I liked using the liquid wax more especially with a polisher.

This is actually a good point, I'd take a clay bar and various levels of polishing compounds before I wet sanded. When they detailed how much did they polish or was it just a wash and wax?

'Cause I love rubbing my chin! Haha, no idea...new driver mod.

Yeah...I was thinking wet sand to remove the micro swirls. But, it's also no show car. I will have to ask the shop what they did because I was expecting a cut and polish.

I'll research some of those products. I used the Mother's clay bar kit last October and have been pretty impressed by the Maguire's polymer wax.

I'd go to a polishing compound on a power polisher before I tried wet Sanding... Won't go through as much paint
