I haven't heard of many aftermarket strut braces... company should refund you and pay for shipping

Did you get the right part? Has your car been in an accident?

I think this is the only strut tower brace for Gen 1, where you able to resolve the issue ? I was thinking of getting one but I could not find any pics installed on line. Let us know.

Smash the tabs, inverse the mount and install to bar on them

Is the front suspension stock? Do you have an alignment with maxed caster?

What would alignment have to do with it?

It looks like the top hat mounts need some offset and they manufactured them centered so it couldn't clear the cowl cover. Which sucks considering its top dollar whiteline stuff.

Any strut brace I have seen for the ms3 is really close to the cowl so that it can clear the tmic. On stock suspension the camber and caster are set by moving the strut around which would necessitate moving the studs that the brace is mounting to.

Honestly since op is fmic they could just get any strut brace for a standard Mazda 3

I know what you're thinking, but those 3 OEM bolts that hold the top hat are smaller than the actual holes in the tower. Think hot dog in a hallway....

I am curious to know why it was such a tight fit though.

I know it doesn't make sense but I can't see why it wouldn't fit

Almost has to be a manufacturing problem
