    The pads are in there.
When I google the part number on the rotor, this comes up:

I apologize @Easter Bunny they are fixed calipers. If my garage was not 130 degrees all the time i could most likley study it and figure it out.

If they are fixed than the rotor would not impact the location of the caliper. It might be that the bracket is flipped or the spindle could be bent. Does it rub on both sides?

    It's rubbing right here

I contacted CS and looking for reassurance that the installation was correct for the caliper. Waiting to finish up the conversation with them. So far I have not been told that the installation looked wrong. They did suggest maybe using a wheel spacer to give the caliper more room. I asked for a picture of their Gen 1 car with the brakes for reference.

Yes, maybe a 5mm spacer would fix the problem and get my wheel spinning, but that does not explain why the problem originated to begin with. I'll get the other wheel mounted tonight and see if the passenger wheel clears. Maybe you are right and the spindle is bent. Would not be surprised, this project has been quite the a money pit.

Do you think the previous owner could have machined material off the back side of the wheel for some reason?

Now that I think about it, it's more likely that he damaged it trying to pull the axle out. The driver's side was the side that the CV axle boot was cut and separated. He even told me that he cut the boot because he could not get the axle out of the transmission. A few wacks with a big sledge hammer in the wrong spot may have caused this.

I don't work on my car in the summer. Are you mad? I spend 5 mins in my garage and I start to sweat buckets. I work early mornings. Weekends I'm busy with family. Thinking about transferring the car to my warehouse where it's 70 degrees. Then I can work on it on my lunch breaks and what not. Too bad the car won't roll. lol

I don't get out of California much so you are probably right. But since I have now way to compare environments i will continue to bitch and complain about the environment in my garage. My house stays at 73 degree or lower when im home. The old lady knows to put on her sweatshirt and crank up the AC before I get home, and have a hot cup of coffee waiting for me when I walk in. Latley she hands me my "eat a giant bag of dicks" cup the @monkey.bones.007 got me. And because I'm such an asshole, i make her pay the electric bill.

Kinda works. Damn security light is flashing like there is no tomorrow. But at least my Radio works and gauges and vents and all the pretty lights. TB makes noise. All good things.

Does the security light normally flash like crazy when KOEO? I tried to uninstall the AP so I can sell it off, but it won't communicate with the ECU. But at least it lights up. Love lights. 'This car has been lifeless for far too long.

Fuck I'm pissed! Guy told me it had high 30's to low 40's something thousands miles. I turn the key... over 60k. What a stupid cock sucker asshole! There goes my resale value. Fuck!

The security light may be a dead or dying battery in the key

Very possible. I'll give that a shot first. Thank you for the tip. I really only wanted to uninstall the AP, someone local wanted it. But I'll admit, it was refreshing to see the dash come to life. Even if the data port won't connect to the ECU.

Those key batteries are an odd size. Best off just ordering online or going direct to a dealer fyi.
