I should mention that after I was running the S3.....for about 500 miles enjoying the boost.
The old tired 140k motor leak down numbers went bad, especially at 5-7 degrees ATDC. Values were before = 10-15% to +30% on two cylinders.
Perfect time for a full rebuild!

Awafrican Enti this is my catch can setup. Pictures aren’t that great. But PCV to can, from can to intake. The line from can to intake manifold has check valve point to the intake. I took it apart to check it all out and there was milky oil from the can in the line to the intake, passed the check the valve. Don’t think that’s normal. Thoughts? [IMG]

Good old cylinder #3, those leak down numbers aren't looking that great to me honestly based on what I've been through.

If you have access to a bore scope I'd pull the plugs and take a peek inside your cylinders.

Cfoldone pulled my restrictor bolt and it’s measuring approximately .066”-.068”…

I wonder if I can open that up just a hair

Cylinder 3 compression though was 210psi?

So your leak down test is showing that #3 has the worst result of your cylinders. Your compression test is a bit uneven as well with 1 and 3 showing 210 psi.

If I were to take a guess based on my experience I wouldn't be surprised if you find that cylinder #3 is wet with oil if you look in there with a bore scope.

Cylinder #3 in these motors is known to fail before the others due to the uneven flow of the OEM manifolds.

I was hoping to catch it soon enough to avoid that by upgrading to the JmF manifold

Man, if it’s not one thing it’s another.

Oil dripping from the hot side of turbo from that bottom corner bolt. There shouldn’t be oil there…

Looks as if the smoking issue has been resolved. After much discussion and consideration. I pulled all of my charge pipes, cleaned thoroughly with parts cleaner and washed out the Intercooler. Additionally, I’d like to thank Cfoldone for the email that he posted from BNR pertaining to the oil feed bolt. Upon careful measurement, my feed bolt was approximately .065” far less than what BNR stated .075” was needed as a minimum. After some deliberation and an impulsive decision, I pulled the bolt and very carefully drilled out my bolt with a .082 bit. Also, pulled the hoses from my OCC and validated all hoses were intact and then even shortened them a tad bit to take out some slack and reinstalled.

During first few start ups,car discharged a significant amount of carbon flakes and smoke, then subsided and has been running quite well since without smoke pooling out the backside. I am still having an intermittent issue at idle, but I found another post of similar issues, and posted on that thread for advice. Thank you!
