Hello. I hope everyone is doing well. I own a 2010 Speed 3. I took my oil cap off today while it was running and oil started shooting out of the oil filler hole with a little bit of smoke and a lot of air pressure. Enough pressure to make a piece of paper held over the filler hole flap. It is burning oil as well. That leads me to believe that the pcv valve is bad. Since I will be taking the intake manifold off to replace it, I want to clean the valves. With that being said, does anybody have any tips and tricks for cleaning the valves without taking the valve train apart. Also could it be anything other than the pcv valve? There is no indication of a bad head gasket. Thank y’all for your input. Have a great day.
