Maybe a 100-200 rpm difference with the awd. Otherwise both cars are running max vvt on spool up and heave identical timing curves til 5krpm. They're gonna spool where they're gonna spool

Would be nice to see that 5862 in gen 2 dbb. I am sure that dyno is somewhere out there.

I'd imagine in 4th gear the only real measureable difference is drivetrain loss and weight.

All good questions guys. I won't be doing the headwork for a while if at all. If somehow I am able to accomplish my goal of over 550whp then I won't be doing any headwork until I get the itch to do more modifications. Need to save a bit of coin somewhere, although I'm sure I'll change my mind in a few weeks lol.

Thanks for the spool comparison @Sho, the 5862 is a 5th gear pull so it's actually loaded more heavily, right? I'll be extremely satisfied with ~550whp out of the 5558.

I thought about the 5862 gen 2 for a while, but decided I was willing to risk not meeting my power goals again for the chance of improved spool.

Correct. No headwork, stock cams. Both turbos are .82AR.

Yes my log was done in 5th, but it spooled just the same in 4th

Turbo is in! Unfortunately no ETA on the CP-E Manifold and Kozmic downpipe.

You should get the DTP downpipe from Jimi, its longer than the Kozmic to prevent all that exhaust temps from blazing on your PTO. Ordered mine today he said should be ready on the 16th.

Almost time to modify this threads title. Looking forward to see what the gen2 turbos are capable of. Best of luck

You might be able to call them and cancel or return it. I have the DTP one and it's great.

Already got the dump pipe, and it's an awesome piece! [IMG]

I purchased the turbo as a kit, but I'll give cancelling the downpipe a shot.

Kozmic downpipe was an awesome fit on my car. It is a Juan but I bet they still make a quality part for a pu.

Oh I meant dump! Sorry for the ignorance! The Kozmic DP is worth the wait, beautiful piece and great fitment! Sucks they wait for 6 orders before they build. Hell are there even 5 more MS6 builds in progress.
