Hey guys so it’s starting to get warmer out here and my speed seems to be running a little hot at least I think, the coolant temp has been chilling around 205 208 even on the freeway. Just wondering if this is normal or what the problem could be. It’s not burning coolant or anything of that sort so just curious thanks.

208 is normal. If you are worried try turning the heater on and it should go down.

You can add some ducting to the front bumper area to help direct air flow through the radiator. Get some coroplast sheeting (what yard signs are made of) and cut that to fit with some brackets.

The temps you're seeing are normal as jsmith said. If they were going past 220 I'd be a little concerned.

Ducting is especially important if you've gone to FMIC and removed it all to fit the intercooler.

I realize that most people don't post when shit works but I honestly had never heard of one working and then there were stories for them simply falling apart once they were installed

Weird. It was a PITA to tune the fan on/off point since the board had different set points when heat soaked vs not. Mine is mounted under the headlight under my air box, so not directly in the engine bay and near fresh air.

The variable resistors on the board didnt look to be anything special, so I'd guess the entire product wasnt designed/rated for under-hood temps which led to failures/oddness??

Seconded, @jsmith yours is one of the few if not only I've heard of working over the years, especially continuing to work. Honestly I'm surprised they're still selling them.
