Hey guys! Hope yall are doing well :)

I have been rebuilding my motor for about 5 months now XD taking a wile as I am also trying to get a degree :/ But I had a few questions regarding re-installing the closed block and transmission into the bay.

I just re-attached my catback and wanted to know what else I should install in the engine bay before dropping the engine in, and what to mount on the block/transmission before doing so as-well.

I currently have a fully assembled block with all pulleys, water pump, starter, EGR, fuel line, HPFP, alternator and transmission attached. Should I connect intake and exhaust mani before too?

And in the bay as mentioned previously only the catback pretty much.

Might have missed a few already installed parts but I cant figure out how to post pictures to show yall, it is asking for a URL?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Have a good weekend :)

As much as you can and still fit on a straight shot in. My mounts are different, so ignore that. The ones that bit me were. Cooling shroud on alternator. Back differential fill before install, install stub axle on motor then fill with transmission/transfer case installed on block. Water pipe for heater core try to keep room before seating engine back into bay firewall, attach those 2 heater cord hoses. Just leave off the oem strap hanger until just before back all the way to firewall.
Important if your turbo oil drain pipe is OEM! Getting to those lower mounting bolts, close to impossible with transfer case so close.

    Thanks @Cfoldone !
I got it in already so might be missing a few hoses from intake side so shouldnt be an issue ;)
The trans fluid on the other hand is gona mess me up. I guess Ill need long funnel or hose to attache to my funnel XD
But I finally got my bottom engine mount after a lot of pushing and im not sure its supposed to stay bent like this after torq down. O tried loosening the passenger side mount but that didnt straighten it out...
Also what is the torq spec on these 60ft/lbs?

    Thanks again

Normally I would point out that the Greatest benefit of a Metal Membership is the Mazda Manuals in the Metal Membership area.
So here's a example of the great buried or sprinkled Data throughout the 100's pages of information.
To answer your question on lower motor/trans mount NO! Its designed to allow the "Dog Bone" to swing up into the fitting area of the opposite side. So something is wrong.....somewhere.
Thinking of the 3 mounts as a triangle the two side mounts if miss-aligned will cause that large sideways shift in the "centered kinda" lower mount. Its important to correct that shift. The front axles and driveshaft need to have their areas of fitting in alignment or bad things will happen. Especially with large HP / Torque values.. Sadly Speed 6 parts are rare and expensive, so I would double check assembly alignments of the 3 mounts. PDF is 2 pages.

    Hey @Cfoldone ,
I used these three references as to my different motor mounts. Thank you so much though :)
But even following all 3 of those install guides I was not able to diminish the sideways shift they refer to :(
I hope it is okay to continue finishing final installation, I am still having a little trouble matching hoses and wires but we will hopefully get there ASAP XD.

@Cfoldone The stainless braided hose that connected to the egr block off plate(at least that what it looks like) that's connected to a red hose. Did you make that yourself or buy that somewhere?

I had it on that turbo when I exchanged it between two different 6's. Look at your favorite turbo web site and look at water block to turbo center water cooling options. It's generic for just about all other than OEM turbo housings.
