Does the arrow on top of the pump point to the rear of the car?

Should replace the sock, not just clean it. Next thing to do is to get a pressure gauge/sensor on that line and see if pressure is dropping off.

Need a gauge to see if pressure is dropping off only if replacing the filter doesn't work.

I cleaned. It looked better than before. Lol but still not clean. On another note. Should I pull the battery after replacing the sock. Or is re flashing the tune acceptable?

Only time you need to reflash is when you have changes to implement in the tune. Disconnecting the battery clears the memory too.

That's not the top of the pump, its the top of the basket. Just put it back in how you took it out; chances are it's slotted so you can only put it back in one way.

Lol I don't recall the orientation when I removed it. Should I just install.new sock and test... or drain and clean tank?

Sock should only go one way, and if you look at the connectors on the tank, those should only allow you to install it one way.
Maybe just leave the ring loose until you figure out what you're doing.

I'm guessing the hpfp pressure is being measured at the rail sensor?

New sock will be here and installed this evening. Also. Justin at freaktune states he believes I'm looki g for an electrical issue. Maybe RFI. Nothing was added when this issue started and I check all harnesses close to the hpfp amd found nothing loose or freyed. Just keeping you all in the loop.

Ok... so new sock installed. Couldn't seem to find the correct pump anywhere, so I JB welded "fuel tank puddy" my itfp outlet nipple. Supposed to be gasoline and ethanol resistant. Put it back together and it seems to be running normal again. Thanks for all the help guys. You once again save the day.

Yea. It says ethanol and gasoline resistant up to 4000psi. I guess we will see. Thanks again to all that helped. Now to enjoy some of this boost weather here in VA
