Does anyone know the position of the single longer turbo stud? And why only 1 is longer than the rest?

That 3mm explains why the DP is such a bitch to get off if that stud is still there

Damn didn't expect the parts diagram to call it out so clearly

Apparently -- once you've dug yourself deep enough -- you need parts diagrams more than dealerships do.

What’s the reason for the longer stud? I’m pretty sure I used all of the same length.

I have no idea. It dosnt need to be longer for any reason i can see. The aftermarket and stock dp flanges dont have a thicker part on that hole so to me it makes no sense.

Sometimes stuff like that is for manufacturing like it's easier to hang the do on one stud then rotate it to line up with the rest than to support the weight while trying to line all of them up. If it saves 30 seconds on the assembly line it's worth the extra length of stud

Never would have thought of that, but you're probably right if they assemble from rear to front.
