Concern: looking for info on cel's
    DTC's: p0011, p0012
Modifications cai, catless dp, cs injector seals.
    ECU/Tuning Software:none
    Tuner:none
    Is the concern intermittent? No
    Can you duplicate the concern?yes
Recent Repairs:timing chain and all componets. Ckp sensor and connector, spark plugs, map, maf, throttlebody, ocv, boost solenoid, new ko4.
Correction: after replacing timing chain the crankshaft and cam dtc went away but now its p0011 and p0012.

The car has sluggish acceleration and doesnt have much power going uphills. Idle is a little rough. While trying to tracl down the cause of acceleration issues I changed out everything that I can think of. Took the car on a drive and cel went off with p0011 the first time I changed oil, filter and vvt solenoid. Put everything back together and erased codes went for another drive and now p0011 and p0012 so I pulled valve cover and hpfp off and set the engine to tdc. Oh yeah the chain is proper tight. With engine at tdc I got cam alignement tool just to see if out of time And I am able to slide tool into intake cam but the exhaust cam is off by 1mm or less I am able to get the tool to fit by adjusting the cam just a little bit. My question is could the little bit that exhaust cam is off could that be causing the cel and sluggish acceleration and why am I getting both advanced retarded timjng codes.. I uploaded a pic of alignment tool before adjusting cam to make fit. Also when posting logs what exactly does that mean which logs should I post?

So I'm trying to understand the 1mm comment on the exhaust cam rotation to allow plate to index at same time as intake slot. If you are saying, you can turn exhaust cam slightly clock or counter clockwise? Or that the cam slot is parallel to plate BUT 1 mm below plate at the surface to go into slot? Because if it is close--- > one edge or other edge of exhaust cam slot would be peeking above the plate for that little 1 mm of rotation of 20230804_222155_1.jpg the exhaust cam.
Now if parallel and 1 mm different to allow slot alignment? Just double checking...that the parallel but not engaging means exhaust cam is 180 degrees out of phase with intake cam slot.
See my edit of your picture...the up down arrows for that little 1 mm of rotation adjustment to allow plate, a cam slot edge must be showing.

Are your cams pointing at each other when you timed it? (green circles) credit to @JohnnyTightlips

Timing is obviously not right, looks like tips^^.

Hopefully you have an upgraded hpfp. And no tune and catless without a tune is asking for zzb.
