This is my first post here so if there is something off or this is in the wrong place, my bad.

I keep getting a recurring P2006 vtsc stuck closed. I know this is a common issue and have verified the little plastic piece is not broken. I guess the next step is to test the vacuum but if the actuator doesn't move is there any chance it's just seized and if so how would I go about fixing that and should it move by hand? Also if I just let it go for now will it effect performance?

The code comes and goes but seems more prevalent on colder days.

    Hello,
I have the same error code and with the factory service manual I was able to find that the intake runner values are sticking inside the intake manifold however my question is on a 2006 Mazda speed 6 is the swirl flaps of death still an issue with these ford engines or has that been solved I was unable to tell if this is a issue however I do hear the ticking noise coming from the intake manifold. Lastly is there a code associated with that flaps of death issue or does it happen without warning.
    Thanks

    Ticking is the injectors. Normal.
