Rear main and clutch back on. My thighs are sooo sore. That transmission gave me a hard time by myself, but I got it y'all. She's going in today folks. I'll be working on it nightly after putting the kiddo to bed to button it up. I bought an awesome LED headlight that lights up the night. Highly recommended, highly necessary. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Awesome progress! I'm hoping to have my long block back today or tomorrow so I'll be in a similar situation. Although it looks a bit warmer there than here. Luckily though I'll be in the garage!

Today was a successful day. @StayFrausty and I laid the hammer down and got most of everything done. Thanks again for your help my dude! I need a new downpipe to turbo vband clamp. The nut pretty much seized on us and it cannot be trusted. Tomorrow the parts come back from coating and I'll get the HPFP and intake in.

The wife said I could get a racing seat. So I pounced on a Sparco R333, but it arrived damaged. That blows.

Also found someone local selling his car and swapped hoods. Busy day. I'm pooped[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Not bad. Parts arrived from coating. I won't have much time to work on things. The wife is heading out of town tomorrow. I'm on Dad duty until Monday. [IMG]

Everything on the topside is practically done. I'm about ready to put the front end back together. I'm having quite the brain fart and cant figure out the 3 grounds and where they go correctly (OCD) under the passenger headlight. Can someone snap me a photo of how the harness is run on their GenPu??

Success!! Started her up for the 1st time today. At first I couldn't figure out why I had a no crank issue. I checked everything over for about an hour before realizing I wasn't pushing the clutch in!! Holy moly I haven't drove a manual transmission in awhile. Zero leaks, and fluids are topped off. I just need to button up the front brakes and it's proper break in time. I pressure bled the clutch easily with the motive power bleeder. That thing is freaking awesome. Way better than my vacuum bleeder!

Those roosters never stop. There is like 15 of them too. Why the hell do you need that many? We have to sleep with white noise or else they wake us up. It's actually a real problem. They have like 20 goats as well.

I think that is the strongest explanation for it. I'll knock on their door and ask "how much cock do you like?"

Finally drove the car for the 1st time today. Everything feels/sounds/looks cherry! God it feels so good to be back in the seat and behind the wheel. Drove 50mi with heavy engine braking and high vacuum. The car is getting an alignment right now. The steering wheel was funked up after replacing the inner and outer tie rods. Time to change the oil and get on with this break in. Planning on swapping to tribodyn 5w40 at the 1000 mark and starting this tuning journey on e48! [IMG]

A word of advice: Do a stock fuel only tune on pump gas first, then tune for corn. The information you gain from that will be worth it.

Yes, do this. It is also very handy to have that on hand for the future. Leave the PI off and max out your stock fuel system. I know that is not always possible with burger turbos "my 5862 would max fuel past 5500rpm due to creep from the CPE manifold"
