Sometimes people here will get right to the point and sometimes it may not be what you want to hear. This place is A LOT more tame than the OG forum back in the day, that place was so toxic it would have roasted you into oblivion. That being said the same questions get asked ALL the time, its not a bad thing but sometimes it gets a little old. A lot of these answers can be found by searching as there is a TON of information out there.
At the end of the day OP you need to make this decision for yourself none of us have a crystal ball and you need to decide what you can afford to deal with. Like EB said no one here is going to sugar coat this for you and tell you it will all be fine. Take a cruise through the Build Diaries here and see how much money people have spent on these cars to get an idea of the waters you are getting into.

As much as I love my Speed6, this is a line from my build thread, lol...
Ive decided relying solely on a 16+ year old unique limited time production car requires a better contingency plan.
...and I consider my car one of the cleaner and "more reliable" Speed6s.

OP, this is a salvage rebuild with timing issues. It is not going to be reliable. There are so many flags on this car it looks like the UN.

This thing could be a flood car causing all kinds of problems.

If your bio is correct for location North East USA. Daily driver in ice and snow...you are a brave soldier.
I have to completely agree, please have a DD.
At least be prepared with Tow Coverage, and forgiveness from your employer.
I bought two speed 6's (16k + the mods) to get one great one, I'm retired and wouldn't still have it as a daily.

I completely agree I'm at an age where I'm not retired but I'm pretty far away from 25. I love driving the Speed but I'm also very glad I have something quiet, reliable and boring to drive as a DD. To be honest it makes driving the Speed more enjoyable.
